CarseatLab was founded in 2019 with a single mission: to provide parents with the most accurate, independent, and actionable car seat information available. We believe that every child deserves to ride safely, and that parents deserve clear, trustworthy guidance to make that happen.
Unlike many review sites that rely solely on manufacturer specifications or user reviews, we conduct hands-on testing with real vehicles, use crash test data from NHTSA and IIHS, and have every review verified by a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST).
